[September 28, 2018] Coatesville at Rustin Football Game - Pregame

Please help us show off Steem's potential in our community by supporting our quest to raise funds to reimburse the band boosters for one band member's travel from Pennsylvania to Florida for this year's Citrus Bowl Parade.

In the September 28 game against Coatesville, the bands deviated from the usual order again, and even though Coatesville was visiting, they took the field before the game. This was probably because the Rustin band had another group of VIP visitors with them in the stands. As noted in previous posts, some of the district's 5th graders had joined the band for the September 21st football game. Similarly, this week the 8th grade band from the local middle school joined the band in the stands and on the field at half time, so we'll have photos of them in our upcoming photo essays from the stands and half time.

Fortunately, after the September 8 weather delay in the game against West Chester East, the weather has been nice for all of the following Friday night games (knock on wood!). At this time of year, the games are also timed perfectly for the sun and clouds to give us some nice visual displays in the skies over the stadium.

The remainder of this post will contain photos of Coatesville's marching band show, before the game. Unless otherwise noted, all pictures are original photos that were taken from an LG-G4 cell phone. You can right click on any of the pictures and open them in a new tab for a better view.

We're not going to say much about the football game in this post. Suffice it to say that Coatesville is currently ranked as the #2 high school football team in the state of Pennsylvania and they have an 8-0 record. The Coatesville band put on a great pre-game show, though, so I hope you enjoyed this photo essay.
