Welcome back,
Ok, the last we spoke we spoke about having a story and starting out with a great opening to your rhyme.
Now that we have our story and 1st line, where do we go from there?
Remember the story, or the main point in the Rhyme.
2nd line - the 2nd line of the Rhyme should backup the 1st.
For example I made a song called passion of the heist.
The 1st line is “I got a plan with my homeboys” then I go to the 2nd line “we see our lives in a way that we don’t enjoy”
So the 2nd line is backing up the 1st line. And hopefully by now you have laid the foundation of interest for the listener.
Mission: make a story plot- make your 1st 2 lines- put them in a reply so we can continue to build.
I know the lessons are short, but that’s what makes them sweet.
Until next Rhyme!
