Rickshaws are usually three-wheeled in one color. Rickshaws are a traditional vehicle not only in Dhaka city but also in busy cities. Through this rickshaw movement, the livelihood of poor people is very easy.

The rickshaw first appeared usually between 1865 and mid-1869. The capital of Dhaka is famous as the city of rickshaws. Apart from Bangladesh, there are some types of transportation in different countries of the world. In 1950, the circulation of rickshaws in Bangladesh started usually in the decade. Rickshaws usually have different designs and are crafted in different ways. On the back of the rickshaw, flowers, fruits, and hero-heroine images are designed by painting.

Rickshaw was the main means of livelihood for many poor people. We had different types of rickshaws in Saidpur town. Rickshaws were generally seen in earlier times being foot propelled. And nowadays due to the touch of modernity, the hard work has been reduced by putting peas in the rickshaw. Foot-operated rickshaws still ply in different parts of our country.
