The truth about the "system."
If everyone had atleast a job making $12.00/hr. People would be fighting to move up the ladder, in a rat race, but if an economic issue occurred, people at the bottom would have no savings, and worse, if welfare became privatised the rich would make millions off the people in interest, or get a tax right-off.
If everyone had atleast a job making $12.00/hr. some people do to the nature of this economic system would fail no matter how hard they try to make a "living wage."
In defense of welfare, the right to work, and a "living wage."
But why should a private business be forced to pay that? I use to think that things like that would be good for the economy and people but I remember that all laws are forced at gun point by the state so the business owner would be FORCED at gun point basically to pay a worker(who may not deserve it) a "living wage" meaning extra cost on the business owner

Yet, this takes the notion of corporate greed out of the equation. So, businesses are not forced to pay a living wage, making good workers work ten times more for a living wage. To underestimate the notion of profit from the issue, why should good workers not be paid a living wage. This is exactly what business owners have done, increased profit, and underpaid the workers. This model can make all of us slaves, like third world countries so to speck, making less and fighting for survival.

The matrix, Capitalism is one person capitalizing on another persons labor. Ex. A service business pays its worker $12.00 but bills the client $30.00/hr., so it can pay a manager and make a profit. But who is doing the work, the worker, the business is making money off the worker, capitalizing off their labor. So, if your a freelancer you can pocket $30.00/hr instead. So, the issue, why should the business make this amount of profit? They are working for the business because the business has created a business with lots of clients, but the business is not doing the work, the people hired are. This is the matrix of capitalism. Freedom.

The issue of corporate greed. Corporations have undermined the industry standard model, in order to drive out their competition. We have been reduced to cheap products and cheap labor because of this. Forcing federal government to reevaluate the "living wage". All these things are interconnected.
