At the moment I write this post, 1 XRP ~ 0.7 USD.
The reason I believe it is still very cheap is that more and more Banks/Institutions are joining Ripple Networks.
In fund transfer, to guarantee the liquidity each Institution needs to reserve some amount of coins (XRP). Those coins can be considered as 'lockout' from daily trading.
The more Institutions to join the network, the demand for XRP coin-reserve will getting higher. This drives the price rocketting.
Just my 5 cent of thoughts.
