Apple Pay Using Ripple Interledger.
Apple has a cross-browser API (Application Programming Interface) that’s under development by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The W3C is a global community that develops protocols and sets standard for the web. Standards Officer of Ripple, Adrian Hope-Bailie is a co-chair of the Interledger Community and Web Payments Working Group at the W3C.
There are currently 120 banks supporting Apple Pay including some of the world’s largest banks by total asset, such as Bank Of America, Wells Fargo and JP Morgan. Banks will have to implement a solution to secure consumer data on Ripple’s blockchain.

Great article Missila ! Thanks for these infos, we def closely following the progresses of ITL's implementation at Apple Pay. I am myself trying to set the first XRPL node and ITL live experience in West Africa. Tuff work, but rewards will be great !
