Ripple Not Coming to Coinbase?

in ripple •  7 years ago

Looks like we might have to wait a bit longer for Ripple to join the ranks of BTC, ETH, BCH, and LTC on Coinbase.

Coinbase tweeted this out today:

What do you guys think? Does this mean no Ripple on Coinbase? Or is this merely a diversionary tactic by Coinbase to surprise people when they do add Ripple?

Ripple is down over 10% from its earlier highs of the day, so it looks like investors think no Coinbase for the time being.

They added the link to their documentation on the policies regarding adding new coins. Ripple doesn't meet those requirements. Why would anyone expect Coinbase go against their own rules which by the way were available since before Bitcoin Cash was added?
