My Ripple XRP story and advice (7 figure mistake)

So here is my xrp story. I started in crypto a little over a year ago (about October/November 2016). I didn’t know much about crypto or how it works. I ran into ripple and it was one of the cheapest coins I could find so what did I do? I bought a ton. To be exact I bought about 500k ripples at about 1/2 a cent. I mostly followed reddit forums for info and it seemed like people either loved it or hated it. Xrp went to 4 cents and of course I thought it was a home run and sold it. It later jumped to 8 cents, then 10 Cents! I was blown away. I bought back around 6 cents and just waited. I kept checking the forums and was checking the price 20 times a day. As soon as the next pump happened I sold at about 15-20 cents. I was blown away by how much money I made! Fortunately I kept about 20 percent and decided to just wait. Lesson here is don’t panic sell, don’t underestimate crypto, don’t listen to fud on reddit, and most important of all don’t sell it all. Always keep some. The 400k ripple I sold is now worth 1.2 million. Lesson learned. I have many stories like this when I started in crypto. I made many more costly mistakes and every mistake cost me a lot of profits.
