top 5 currencies to invest in and why? also what might south koreas ban do to the whole crypto currency field?

in ripple •  7 years ago  (edited)

I have barely started doing my research in the crypto currency field and am just so thrown off by how many different currencies there are out there. I made investment in steem, litecoin and ripple. Litecoin seemed to have a promising future but has since halted its growth. Ripple has also seen some downfall but I think that it may keep growing slowly since it has partnered with some big banks for some big moves. I am looking for an expert opinion on what other coins to put my money in. I want to leave litecoin and invest that money elsewhere. any thoughts? i know the rule : invest small and win big. Anyone know anything about digibyte? price right now is .09 cents but i dont know if it has any promising future to it. how bout that talk about south korea placing a ban on the crypto currencies; are people going to start selling their coins like crazy because of fear? hmmm Also how do I get stellar using my litecoin i already have purchased? HELP !! LOOKING FOR A FRIEND...OR FRIENDS! coin.jpeg

A few hours ago, I put 20% funds to buy Ripple.

lets hope it pays off

Yep! For sure, there is room for so many successful cryptocurrencies in the world, and XRP I'm sure will do well.

I would advise not to buy Ripple, and check out this article to learn about XRP's weaknesses: https://steemit.com/ripple/@keks/five-cautions-about-ripple .
Note that you did not buy Ripple, you bought XRP which is very, very different from Ripple. Ripple as a company has many projects, but XRP is only one of them, and in fact they are working on many others that would rival XRP, and have better tech and support.

I am here to help! To exchange your litecoin, go to an exchange such as Changelly . Though, sadly Changelly does not have Stellar Lumens listed. I am not going to give you a top five cryptocurrencies, but here are some interesting coins that you should look into:

  • Golem, the world's biggest supercomputer, on a blockchain.
  • Basic Attention Token, the future of advertising
  • Bitcoin is also a good investment even though it is the oldest crypto
  • Check out my post on KIN, which is a cryptocurrency based around social media that will surely be massive in the future
  • IOTA which is a cryptocurrency that runs on the Tangle, a more advanced version of the blockchain. Here is an article I wrote about a problem that IOTA has.

Also, the supposed South Korea ban on cryptocurrencies is never going to happen. 200,000 Koreans signed a petition not to ban exchanges. The only thing that will happen is some regulations on their exchanges, which will not affect trading. Much of the market was afraid recently, but it is all OK now.

Also I have to say that especially since it seems like you are new to crypto (though this applies to everyone), you should invest big and still win big as your investment grows to be MASSIVE. So I wouldn't go messing around with the really small coins, but would stick to the medium to large sized ones, because many will grow to be massive. Here is a post about exactly what XRP and Ripple are, and some of their weaknesses, because they are often misunderstood and overhyped.

Well, probably the best exchange for exchanging smaller coins is Binance. You can send it your litecoin, then exchange that for either Bitcoin or Ethereum, then exchange that for Stellar Lumens. I’m not sure what the exchange fees are, but as long as you’re investing a fairly large amount (say >$200) then the fees will be negligible. I’m always ready to help! Just comment on one of my posts, and I’ll try to help you out.

Oh, and one other thing. Here is a good post I just found on some cryptocurrency terminology that may be unfamiliar to you here.

Now, in fact, Stellar is on Changelly!

awesome , you are the best!

Thanks. You can read my daily posts to hear about recent news and about other cryptocurrencies. :D
