It seems like, a lot of people on the Steemit wants to know about Ripple. Here are some quick facts:
Ripple is a technology called RippleConnect While XRP is an cryptocurrency used for this technology.
Ripple and XRP has a 4th bigger market cap.
99% banks rely on 1% banks eg citibank for international transactions and Ripple customers will be 99% banks.
Ripple has more currency volume because of an substantial quantity of XRP vanishes while using the technology.
Ripple can do transactions in less than 6 seconds.
Once Ripple is used by any of the bank, the banks are left with no substitute. There is no ICO at the moment which will provide similiar service as of Ripple in next 5 years.
Ripple is sharing their platform to banks and online ecommerce for testing purposes which means certainly they have something to offer.
Its your choice to hate it or love it but its a technology not to get ignored.

Yeah. I have my own doubts, too. In 5 years, not a single bank has EVER used an XRP token. Banks aren't famous for outsourcing their primary function. IF they want a token, they'll create one. I am just tossing up some stable ground profits from it.

I recently read that Ripple is making new partnerships so I think the price might go UP at some point but who knows.These facts are interesting. Some of them I didn't know so thank you = )
