Ripple future plan and rumors (with sources)

In my opinion, there are two very cool rumors floating around:

1. Ripple + Hyperwallet (read: Amazon +++). Did some digging around the XRP chat, and there are some extremely interesting connections between Hyperwallet and Ripple. What makes this very interesting is that hyperwallet handles international payments for Amazon now (as well as Uber, Air BnB and WeChat), and has been very positive and bold on Ripple tech previously until going silent for a while. There were also some talking about JoelKatz leaving ripple for some period of time to help out with one of their customers wallet solution, some people believe this might actually be Hyperwallet. (A fun extra fact for people who believe Amazon might be one of the household names TBA is that someone noticed a slide on one of ripples old presentations mentioning Amazon as a validator. This has since been pulled. Perhaps because of a NDA and an actual partnership forming?)

1. Ripple + VISA / MasterCard Check out this brilliant piece of work for more information on this (links below). What really got me interested was that some news-site apparently put out some fake news about a ripple + visa collaboration that got pulled down by the Ripple team EXTREMELY fast. Speculations that this too might be due to a strict NDA and a real partnership. (page 5 in the linked thread has more on that)

Now, I don't know if any of these companies will be the "two household names" that Ripple will present presumably later this month (gunning for 24th), but I almost certainly believe that they are in the pipe and that some kind of partnership is forming under the surface. It would make a lot of sense for these companies to use Ripple (XRP), as they would save money and give their customers a better and more streamlined product.
