So rumors in crypto are rampant and unfortunately (or fortunately however you look at it) are the norm.
Lately I've heard so many people trying to spread the news that Ripple XRP could possibly be added to Coinbase soon.
Given the criticism Coinbase got for what people called "insider trading" when Bitcoin Cash came out on Coinbase, I highly doubt they'll release a statement on a new coin being added without some plan.
Either way, today it looks like there is a lot of news stating that Ripple will not be added to Coinbase any time in the near future - See pics below:
Then Coinbase actually tweeted today that "Coinbase will announce the addition of new assets only via our blog post or other official channels." Which I personally don't know what "other official channels" would be at this moment, but currently (as far as I know) they haven't not released any data about Ripple via these channels.

Well there you have it folks.
I guess Ripple will have to wait another day before they get added to Coinbase.
In the mean time it's possible that CoinSquare a Canadian Exchange might add Ripple - Again speculative news.

Oh yes of course! I don't think Coinbase won't add more as time goes on...but it seems for the moment, Ripple will not be added like a lot of people have speculated. I'm sure in the future it will , or so I would assume! 💪💪💪
