#Ripple is on fire. $100 million Plus valuation. Up 62%. Is it the real deal (or a pump?) Are the likes of #Cardano, #Stellar, #Steem and other solutions driven cryptocurrencies taming the wild-wild-crypto world? I think so .... Cryptocurrencies like any other business or not-for-profit, MUST solve a problem and there needs to be an underling business model that drives it (curse me if you will....but #Bitcoin does not). Well at least not while sky-high mining fees run up the price of a cup of coffee to $25 bucks or more. Real investors, smart-people are beginning to understand that and are rapidly turning to #altcoins.
NOTEWORTHY STATS:
- Ripple: Up 700% in December from $0.25 to $2.62
- Ripple is benefiting from changing sentiments (as analysts begin to value centralized cryptocurrencies)
- #Cryptocurrency market has grown from $17.7 billion to more than $600 billion in December 2017
- New investors are flooding the cryptocurrency market and are more interested in the return (short and long-term) they may gain by investing in cryptocurrencies
- New investors are placing a premium on stabilility, scalability and interoperability.
In other words, if a cryptocurrencies' long-term play doesnt make sense, if its management team isn't on point and there is no plan to sustain its operation long-term, well you may soon find your favourite cryptocurrency taking a "dive". We sure are. There are some crypto whales pumping and dumping this mofo. I fully expect it to continue for the next two years. Now, that the likes of #Bitcoin have proven that there is real gold in #cryptocurrency you are going to get a massive amount of money pumped into the market from day traders and institutional investors. And all they care about is generating value for themselves and their clients. So they will exploit these currencies for personal and corporate gains. BEWARE: Anyone that doesnt have a strong constitution for risk need not apply.
