I first came across Ripple last year as it was being spoken about in the media in what it tries to offer and which companies it has partnered with. It came across as very interesting and although i declined to buy any of their coins, I kept reading the articles and read on forums about how Ripple is on the up and what it means to the banking industry.
Some argue it's not a true currency but if it's not, then should it be renamed as asset?
What rules do we place around Alt coins to say it's truly a coin or just some other asset which is being traded back and forth? or is it both?
The other question I ask myself is, does Ripple keep with the Satoshi spirit of what he/them are trying to achieve?
Who knows?!
