Let me know if I'm doing this right, or if anything needs to be changed.

Homo Deus

Flag: Forthcoming

Transhumanist Ascension
Cybernetic Enhancements

Places: San Francisco & Surrounding
Capital: San Francisco, with the new seat of government being a gigantic campus with constant experiments in policy and technology taking place called Ex Machina.

History:

Homo Deus started from the ashes of Silicon Valley. The beliefs of capitalism, independent freedom, and transhumanism survived the apocalypse, and those who doubled down quickly thrived in the new environment. They continue to frantically develop technology, believing that only through innovation and evolution will humanity continue to survive.

Through the extensive use of microcorporations and innovative use of different technologies, they have created a unique society with laws and political decisions made through complex technologies. Despite their focus on innovation and development, their society has become very stratified with former CEOs, Executives, and politicians retaining much of their prestige and power, while others find themselves perpetually lagging behind.

Common Languages:

English, Spanish, Clickwise (a new language spoken by the heavily augmented, argued to be the most efficient language, whatever that means)

Ethnicities:

Highly mixed, including mixed Caucasian European, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, African, etc.

Internal Politics:

Ostensibly, Homo Deus is an extreme meritocracy. Despite this assertion, there are a great number of tensions within their society. Many at the bottom of the civilization have limited ability to move upwards through society, and “experimental ethics” has become a thing of the past. The wealthy and the brilliant continue to push towards the bleeding edge, often uncaring about the externalities.
