About Mistakes And Antifragile Systems
What is an anti-fragile system? According to the well known trader-turned-philosopher Nassim Taleb, an anti-fragile system is a system that can survive shocks and continue on. He also goes on to explain that such a system factors in mistakes, even to a point of being able to extract good and learn from every mistake. He also goes on to quote the great athlete Yogi Berra, who famously joked once about all mistakes being the "wrong" mistakes - as in "there are no "good" mistakes in the "game" of baseball or life in general, all mistakes seem wrong and unnecessary to us at the time. The best we can do is to accommodate this reality and learn how to survive and thrive despite and even because of it.
