I hope the sleeziness of disbar-worthy tactics of the prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse case serves as an example to conservatives for why we should end the death penalty.
Any power you give to the government will be abused. It's very rare to see a criminal trial with the prosecution's sliminess on full display, but now you've been able to get a look at the kind of people the state hires to put people in jail and on death row.
Do you really want the corrupt Binger-like prosecutors across America to have that kind of power?
P.S. I know that the death penalty was not one of the punishments for Kyle's offense. I'm commenting on the issue of the incredibly sleezy tactics of DAs across the nation, because Binger is not alone.
Supporting the death penalty is giving the Bingers of the world the power to use their sleezy tactics to put people on death row.
And to the people in the "no mercy" camp..
I don't see how it's not merciful to kill someone. If they did something so bad, let them be imprisoned forever. I'd argue it's merciful to kill someone, because now they don't have to live out the rest of their life in solitude living with the fact they're being punished for what they've done.
