Speed is the main problem of all major road injuries. Speed killed so many peoples worldwide.
We must control speed limit in most trafficked road especially in developing countries where population is a major factor.
DRINKING AND DRIVING :
Drinking alcohol and accident is two synonymous thing in today's life which causes death and serious injuries . Almost in all countries drinking-driving is not allowed but mostly in developing there is no such monitoring system to caught those irresponsible drivers and punishing them to avoid accident.
SAFETY HELMET:
Using Safety Helmets reduced risk of life for motorcyclist and cyclist and passengers who ride on them. But in fewer countries strict rules are applied to motorcyclist to use Safety Helmet and follow safety rules in times of riding on the roads. These causes most injuries in the roads.
SEAT BELTS:
Using Seat belts is the first and main safety law for motor vehicles drivers riding on the roads. Most of the road injuries happened on the roads because front seats passengers don't use a seat belt while driving and sitting on the front seat.
According to a report in 57% cases major injuries and deaths happened because drivers and passengers don't wearing Seat belts till now.
Pre-hospital Care:
We need advanced Pre-hospital care in all small and big cities to avoid death in accident. All hospitals should have some toll free numbers for emergency help calling and they should take action immediately if a person calling for help in times of accidents.
Some Rules That most Developed Countries Adopted To Avoid Road Accident :
In European countries slowing traffic down and separation of vulnerable people from motorized traffic and increasing safety awareness to all people and increasing traffic police and volunteers and increasing more and pedestrians crossing across the road and adopted fine for violating traffic rules decreasing road injuries.
Careless Driving :In UK and Germany adopted fine system for careless driving. They adopted a fine system plus a computerised point system for traffic violation. That is very good system. Three times violating the major traffic rules can cancel their driving licence.
In California their is special rules for Motorists to avoid accident with bicycle. Motorists should keep at least three feet distance from bicycle in times of congestion area and disallowing of parking of motor vehicles in footpath reduced accident.
