This sort of story has been told throughout the course of history. For instance, during the industrial revolution people believed that all humans would be replaced with machines. The thing is, the economy has a tendancy to create new jobs. So while it could be true that 47% of current jobs in America could disappear, many new jobs will be created which people can simply do instead.
