When certain bands have their periods of rest, and their members are still eager for gigs, then they begin to form a side projects with the idea of lasting until they return to their original groups. So in 1992, the band Babe was formed. It was founded by Zika Milenkovic (guitar, vocal, Bajaga and instructors), Zoran Ilic (guitar, <Riblja korba), Bojan Vasic (bass; <ex - Bezobrazno zeleno) and Goran Cavajda Cavke (drums, vocals, <electric orgasm) .
The initiator of the founding was Boban Vasic, but the role of frontman and songwriter was taken over by Zika Milenkovic. The band was named after the village Babe in Kosmaj, in the municipality of Sopot, fifty kilometers from Belgrade, which at that time had about 300 inhabitants. In the search for the unusual name of the band, the name of the village offered him practically by himself.
By combining the animator skills from "Instructor" and the experience from Amateur Theater "Theater Left" with his witty songs, Zika created the entertaining image of the band, which immediately came to a positive reaction in the audience. During the recording of the first album, Bojan Vasic leaves for South Africa, and Dejan Škopelj (ex - U škripcu) joins him.

The only two tracks that have achieved somewhat greater success are the Parody of Life and Who Thoughts, while the processing of Sinatra's "Strangers in the Night" is rated as a song below every average. In that period, the band leaves the band, who goes to his story without return. After filming the film "Geto - Secret Life of the City" he moved to Tasmania, where he died in 1997. from AIDS.
Compilation "P.S. Babe "was released in 1998. and contains material from the first album, followed by a tape of" 4 Babe Poems "and new songs" I Want to Be President of Serbia "," Last Night "and" Young, Crazy World ". After that, the album "Dreams and Rebellion (just for the lunatics and rebels)" followed by new songs, processing ("In Touch of Two Poles": "Touch too much," Hazel O'Connor), but also songs like "Mexico", dating back to Zika's playing in the Machori band, in the early eighties.
