The Ear punishment was founded in 1986, and its frontman is Ivan Djordjevic Ivek (guitar, vocal). The first material appeared at the end of 1990 on the joint release "Walking to Ecstasy", where they found themselves with Euphoria, Clibers, Presing and Darkwood Dub.
They released their independent release in early 1991 as a single with the songs "Rip the stone" and "My friend", under the slogan "Extreme garage rocking".

The following 1992 was very significant for the band. Firstly, they publish their debut album "Below the Earth", which brings the hits "The Bone", "Born Mad" and "When You Are Dead and White", then win the award winning audience at the Zaječar Guitar Festival and the Jury Prize at the "Fast Bands of Serbia" Ivek is named the best guitarist. Since the promotional edition was mainly distributed to the media, the album was released again in 1992 on a tape, and two years later on a CD with the addition of concert shots.

Second album "The Outburst of Joy, the Attack of Happiness" was released for PGP RTS 1994 in cassette and LP format. After the concerts that followed next year, a pause is set in the band due to Ivek's departure to Greece and gigs at the clubs there. In the summer of 1997, the ears of the ears held a new concert in SKC, but the new edition will take another two years.

The album "Zauske" appeared in 1999 and after that the band stopped working.

P.S.

Twenty years of band was marked by a concert at "Academy" in 2006. The album "New Dawn" was released in march 2014.
