I'm Addicted to Anya Green's Vocals

Anya Green (Аня Грин) is the vocalist of LaScala, a Russian Alternative Rock band with a great creativity and a very melodic sound. They incorporate a lot of different musical styles in their songs and never cease to amaze me.

I stumbled upon this band by chance and got addicted right away. According to Last.fm, I've listened to them almost 1000 times already, in a matter of 3 months! 😁

In this acoustic version of the song Прочь (Begone), played live in front of a small audience, you can really listen to her beautiful voice and get a feeling of her great talent. She's quite gorgeous, too... as if her astonishing voice wasn't enough! 😍

Yeah, the song is completely in Russian... but who cares if you don't get the lyrics..? It doesn't take away any of its beauty!

I hope you liked it!

When the world puts the coronavirus craziness behind, it's one of my bucket list wishes to see this band live. Not an easy feat, since it's always a complicated process to get a Visa to Russia, where they perform the most. 😊

Besides, I'll have to time my vacation days with one of their concerts, months in advance. A tricky thing to do... but I hope I can do it, someday.

I am so longing to be able to start singing with my band again if I see this :)

Yeah... and I'm eager to go to a live show. Again. 😁
