Rohrendorf in Austria is a small linear settlement near Krems. Such linear settlements of course have major disadvantages. Cars rush through them and people are not really invited to meet on the streets. In addition, there is not really a place for events like markets. This year, Rohrendorf created "Rohrendorf Mitte", a new main square that is located on a former parking near the church. A very inviting space with a lot of benches, trees etc.
Last week, I took some photos and published them on https://www.tempus-et-lux.com/project/rohrendorf-mitte-rohrendorf-at/
I invite you to take a look on the photos - it is really amazing how this very small village managed to create an inviting place to meet and relax!
