To walk the walk, in Rojava no less - Cards Against AnarchysteemCreated with Sketch.

A few days ago I found out that I was removed, by just one single person, from the acquaintance of Michael Israel (Kurdish nom de guerre Robîn Agirî). Who is he? you might ask. He is mentioned as an American anarchist socialist who was volunteering in Rojava, the Kurdish region of northern Syria which is fighting ISIS and which has been an experimental ground for anarcho-municipalism, as previously featured on a Card Against Anarchy in my very first post introducing Cards Against Anarchy. Those around me who knew him were devastated by the news of his having perished during a bombing of Kurdish units in Rojava carried out by the air force of Turkey. You know, the turkey that has been feeding ISIS. That turkey needs to be stuffed.

When considering the many ways we bitch and whine and put on shows, I am humbled by those who make the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom of others. To say that you rock is an understatement.
The below is a list of "international volunteers" who have given up their lives for what they believed (from https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10211385406971097&set=a.10206467954557860.1073741827.1239363958&type=3&theater)

This has occupied a portion of my thoughts since I read about the life of this young man. While reading up and down, I also came across the following - amazing:

You might also remember the below from last year. You think your life is hard? Bitch again.

I will be debating with myself what to put on my cards for a while yet.

Love,
Cards Against Anarchy.
