Tron Rollercoaster heading for Disney World

I'm a rollercoaster enthusiast that travels globe in search of the best rollercoasters, and have ridden over 1300 different coasters in over 20 different countries.

TRON Lightcycle Power Run is the highly acclaimed rollercoaster at Shanghai Disneyland. Construction has already started to build a copy of the ride a the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida.

This video was shot with a mixture of a GoPro Hero 4 black and the Panasonic GX85 micro 4/3 camera.

The bikes have lighting around the wheels, chassis and on the back restraints. At various points during the ride the lighting changes colour and intensity. One of the cool things is that when a restraint is secure on a rider it changes colour from purple to blue. There's also a point in the ride where the bikes turn orange so that in a mirror it looks like you are racing against another group of bikes.

Most of the ride takes place indoors making it hard to see. But the first portion is outdoors giving spectators a great view of the ride. It looks fantastic during the day but it's when it starts to get dark outside that the ride really comes to life thanks to the onboard lighting and the effects on the building too.
