It's a question that takes some thought, both originally British now both owned by German car manufacturers. Whether it's a classic or modern, both marques have some impressive cars from the Mulsanne to the Drophead, both with numerous versions and models.
The thing about British prestige or luxury cars if you prefer is that they have a heritage that can't be beaten as well as a presence, both uniquely British in their being, from wheel style through to the body shape.
Both brands with a wealth of racing heritage under their belt, from the 1900's - winners of some of the most prestigious races on the planet, like the London to Edinburgh and the Mille Miglia.
It's a hard choice with both manufacturers able to offer coach built versions as well as SUVs in the near future, whether it's Zagato with a Continental or P & A Wood with a Dawn, or a one off from Rolls Royce themselves like the unmistakable £10,000,000 Sweptail, the coach built Rolls Royce built on the Phantom platform, sporting a yachtesque style design, with bespoke additions through out including unique 2 digit milled from Aluminium ingots.
It's a hard choice, which would you prefer?
If you really want to stand out.

Certainly, that would do it with that striking yellow on a Silver Shadow

Rolls all the way.
Just because of the presence they give out on the road!
And if it's black with tinted windows and everything and straight pipes.
Oooooooohooooooooooo that's a dream car!

Bentley by far. Top choice would be the new Continental GT which I find stunning.
The Top Gear episode that featured the rally run with a Continental GT is a favorite of mine and it's impressive what the car is capable of when used for purposes other than Grand Touring.

I prefer Bentley out of the two, but I'd take an Aston over both.

Interesting, standard Aston or a coachbuilt like the Zagato Vanquish?

I love the DB11, but my favorite Aston is the V8 Vantage from the late 70s.

You must do if you like the 3rd, great taste - that's the £10m Sweptail, got to witness its beauty at Goodwood FOS this year, it had a 4 man detail surrounding it everywhere it went.

How cool is that! Is it okay to say that I'm totally in love with the real 1920s classics? lol. And also the Volvo P1800, of the "newer" classics?

Oh yes, vintage vehicles are sublime and the old school Volvocars look so retro sporty -
