좋은 영화란 한번에 알아보기 힘들다는 걸 쿠아론의 영화는 매번 입증하고 있다. 이야기는 아무런 감동을 주지 않고 <그래비티>의 아찔함도 없다.
그럼에도 불구하고 이 영화에는 <칠드런 오브 맨>의 숭고감이 깃들어 있다.
다시 한번 쿠아론의 고집에 감탄하게 된다. 영화는 이야기하기 대신 영화를 감각하게 할 뿐이다.
