The Liars Bridge - Romania💓

This bridge it to situated in Sibiu between the two sectors of the Small Market and facilities the connection between the Top City and the Lower City. The bridge is a place full of legends but the most believable one seems to have at it's origins a homonymous words. Being the first bridge which does not have support pillars, it was named the „lying down”. In the dialect of Saxon „lying” it's the namesake of the word „lie” and hence the old man , because of the noises emitted of the bridge during the crossing of a so called lier, they have developed many legends, that the bridge would know these kind of people and „means” in a way that frightens you.
The metallic bridge has been included in the list of historical monuments from Sibiu Country since 2015.
