Tron (TRX) News, Commentary and Updates - Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018

Welcome to Rinzler’s Blog Post # 2. Here you’ll find recent news and updates regarding the Tronix token, the Tron Foundation, and anything else relevant to Crypto. We will examine the five deals Tron has booked with the companies shown below, along with a few other info updates.

Let’s pause for a moment however, and start with some general good news for TRX…

"TRON (TRX) Price Forecast and Future Prospects"

In an article published on financeminutes.com titled, “TRON (TRX) Price Forecast and Future Prospects”, the author of the article, Aishwarya Nandan, addresses a few interesting points related to Tron. Tron’s rise up the ladder on Coinmarketcap.com, from the 80’s and 90’s just weeks ago, to (at the time of writing) #14, with a price of $.07 USD, (0.00000649 BTC). Contributing factors included increases in liquidity, upcoming partnerships with possible Nasdaq listed companies, the upcoming Obike partnership (mentioned in more detail below) and rumor of possible future deals in the works:

“Why TRON is growing?
The news of potentially big partnerships like with NASDAQ listed companies had a huge effect on the price. Late last month, Tron had announced that it had signed a new deal with Singapore bike-sharing company oBike, that has 10 million members across Asia, Europe and Australia.
As per the deal, oBike is expected to launch its own token based on Tron called oCoins for users to pay for rides. The riders can also earn oCoins the more they ride, as well as also to buy content on the Tron platform. Moreover, there are rumors that Chinese giant Alibaba could partner with Tron due to the connections between Tron’s Justin Sun and Alibaba founder Jack Ma.”

Positive articles on Tron are plentiful. Indeed the rumors abound about potential prospects for Tron and ties between Justin Sun and Jack Ma, and potential is always a good cloak to be surrounded by, but rock-solid, established partnerships are what most ‘potential’ buyers of TRX are looking for.

On that note, let’s discuss the deals!

This is a major partnership and a great start for the TRX token, and is really only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to demonstrating the potential use cases for TRX in the entertainment and gaming industries.

The partnership with Peiwo, the audio-sending app that boasts 10 million users can be studied briefly:

The Game.com partnership will only be a small peek at other potential uses for TRX, and Tron’s vision of an entertainment and gaming industry more geared to bringing power back into the hands of the players.

Tron also established a deal with Gifto, a product of Asian Innovation Group who, in partnership with Uplive, will make it possible to create, buy, and exchange gifts across social networks like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.

The agreement between Tron and Baofeng landed Justin Sun, Tron’s founder, into a bit of hot water after his official announcement, which according to some, was partially misleading. A more thoughtful examination of the deal can be reviewed in a blog post by Kevin Steele at Medium.com.

From Baofeng:

“As part of its strategic partnership, the Wave TRON Foundation will also provide partial rewards to users of BFC Coverage Cloud after its main network goes online, which in part will reward users who will be distributed as BFC credits to all BFC co-op clouds.”

I don’t care how you look at it, that’s great news, and beautiful potential for future expansion within Baofeng, if Tron plays their cards right.

A few other news items worth mentioning:

Deal With Matchpool

Not too many details on this integration, but was formally announced by Matchpool on Twitter. Matchpool is a match-making organization whose vision is to give the world matchmaking tools to incentivize positive connections between people, and I love how warm and fuzzy that sounds.

Coinburn (!!)

Planned for March 2018. What will the overall supply be reduced to? There are plenty of rumors of 10 to 20 percent, but as far as I can tell, there has been no official number released by the Tron Foundation. (Please correct me if I’m wrong readers?) For those of you wondering what that means for TRX, is that once the supply is reduced, the value of the remaining tokens will increase. The speculation on how much varies between $.50 – $1.00, to $5.00 -$10.00. (As a TRX hodler, I’m hoping very much for the latter, but will be happy with any increase!)

KuCoin Listing

As of the time of this writing, TRX had finished in the #3 voting spot for listing on the KuCoin exchange. There has been no official word on if they will be listed yet, but if the answer is yes, this should also garner a price bump in the upward direction.

Newsweek Coverage

Finally, there was some fantastic mainstream media coverage of Tron, and Justin Sun in a recent article from Newsweek. If you haven’t read it yet, check it out!

That is an impressive list of great January news for a coin that I hope to see achieve its goals in 2018.
TRX is still at a low price, compared to where most predictions have it headed for the rest of the year.
