Ronaldo thanks Juve supporters for applauding his goal

Cristiano Ronaldo expressed gratitude toward Juventus fans who extolled his staggering bike kick objective for Real Madrid against the Italian side on Tuesday and said he had been seeking after quite a while to score in such stupendous design.

"Clearly individuals are discussing my second goal....it was a staggering objective, potentially the best of my profession," he said in a video posted on a few Spanish sites after the Champions League tie in Turin.

"I scored once for the national group with a bike kick, which hit the post and went in, yet this was somewhat better," said the Portugal forward.

"I had been hoping to score an objective like that for quite a while however it relies upon the conditions of the match. Now and then, it doesn't' work, however you generally need to attempt. I attempted and I scored."

Ronaldo's objective, when he met Dani Carvajal's cross with a mind blowing overhead kick, was the second in Real's 3-0 win in the quarter-last first leg and was commended by the home fans.

"This was one of the most delightful minutes," he said. "To be praised by the Juventus stadium, where such huge numbers of incredible footballers have played, is a best minute for me.

"It's something that stays in your heart...I need to thank every one of the Italians who were here in the stadium and extolled me."
