গোলাপ একটি সুন্দর ফুল। গোলাপকে বলা হয় ফুলের রানী। সবচেয়ে বেশি গোলাপ আকর্ষণীয় ভালোবাসার রানী পাখিদের তারা গোলাপকে খুবই সুন্দর যে প্রতীক হিসেবে মনে করে তাদের কাছে গোলাপ দিলে তারা ভাবে ভালোবাসা বন্ধন আরও গভীর হল।
গোলাপ এমনই একটি ফুল যার সৌন্দর্য সে নিজেই। এই ফুল তৈরির পেছনে যারা পরিশ্রম করে আমরা কখনও তাদের কথা ভাবি না।
তারা কত কষ্ট করেই ফুলটা তৈরি করে সত্যি কথা বলতে গেলে একটা গোলাপ ফুল তৈরি করতে সর্বনিম্ন এক থেকে দুই সপ্তাহ সময় লাগে আর গাছকে তাজা রাখতে গাছের গোড়া পরিষ্কার রাখতে অবিরাম পরিশ্রম করতে হয় তাতে সেই পরিমাণ এর অর্থ পাওয়া সম্ভব হয় না।
সত্যি কথা বলতে ফুলের বাগানে পরিশ্রম কথা বলে শেষ করা যায় না। বিশেষ করে আমাদের দেশের ফুল চাষীরা তারা ফুলের আবাদে অন্যান্য দেশের মতো আমাদের দেশে ভাল লাভবান হতে পারে না। যদি সরকার একটু ভালো কোনো উদ্বেগ নেই তাহলে দেখা যাবে আমাদের দেশে চাষিরা অনেক বেশি লাভবান হতে পারবে।
তবে ফুল চাষের চাষীরা আশাবাদী যে তারা সরকারের কাছ থেকে ভালো কোনো উদ্যোগ পেতে পারে।
ফুল চাষ আসলেই অনেক লাভজনক তবে সরকারের কিছু সহনীয় উদ্যোগ থাকলে এই চাষে আরো পরিমাণ বাড়তে পারে। যদি দেখা যায় এই ফুল চাষে ফুল বিদেশে আমদানি করা যাচ্ছে তাহলে আমার মনে হয় শিশুদের তাদের নিজস্ব পণ্য অধিক পরিমাণ মুনাফা অর্জন করতে পারবে।
আসুন আমরা সবাই আমাদের প্রত্যেকের বাড়ির সামনে কিংবা ছাদের উপরে কিংবা ঘরে সৌন্দর্য বৃদ্ধি করার জন্য ফুল গাছ রোপন করে একটি ফুল গাছ ঘরের সৌন্দর্য বৃদ্ধি করতে যা অন্য কিছুতে অত বেশি আকর্ষণ করতে পারে না।
