I don't get to see many cultivated roses, as I usually walk around in forests and the countryside, and not in gardens. Still, I do see wild roses every now and again, and they have a beauty all of their own (and they smell great):

Stunning rose images @ocrdu Wild roses are beautiful indeed and they do have that familiar wonderful perfume which the cultivated roses lack these days.
