Royal Bot Review: @lays the manual curator

The @lays account has been around since September 2017.
Unsure of max post age, you may be able to get 5th or 6th day posts through depending on que.
Accepts SBD, with a posted minimum bid of 1.0 SBD but we sent less and was upvoted.
Will upvote comments or posts.
They do not leave any comments when they vote.
It appears customer service is done through posts on @lays blog.
This is a manual upvote seller with an advertised upvote of up to 220%

I checked steemworld.org and @lays was in the upper 90% for vote power so I knew that they would be voting soon.
I sent a transfer @ 8:01 PM with .5 SBD and was upvoted 5 hours later.

Our .5 SBD vote got us a .94 upvote. Not the 220% max range advertised :(
The .94 vote will not recover all of the SBD we used to purchase this upvote.
In purple, on the left, I circled the steem we will be getting from this post.
If we were to take the SBD we won't be recovering from this post and buy Steem with it today we would get 0.177 instead of the 0.088.
By buying this vote I lost ~ 0.074 SBD worth of value from my wallet!

To be fair we should also analyze a vote that followed the 1 SBD min bid rule. Here is a 1 SBD purchase.

After doing the calculations the SBD ROI is a - 16%.
If we were to take the SBD we won't be getting back from this upvote purchase and to buy STEEM at market price with it we would have gotten less steem than by purchasing this vote.
0.21-0.19= 0.02 STEEM/ 1.2= a 0.017 SBD increase in value because of this vote at the current moment. With STEEM price fluctuation this could go negative quick.

Positives: No advertising on your posts. Human curation removes spam and shit posts.

Negatives: ROI is low compared to other services. Up to 12 hours wait for a vote sometimes.

Fine print:
