I know there are lot of questions going through the mind of several people now as to whether covid19 is the final plague that would bring the end of the age. But I would not want us to be ignorant to the fact that Jesus told us everything necessary to be known about the end of the age and his second coming.
We have been taught to believe that no one knows the end of the time, but Jesus did not only tell us about the end of the age, he also told us when the end would come.
The problem with an average believer is the ignorance. An average believer hardly studies the bible and this is why at this age and time it still seems as though the truth is in the dark.
The end of the world according to Jesus depends on the believers assignment. Jesus gave an example with the story of Noah in Mathew 24;37-38.
Therefore the same way God waited for Noah to finish his assignment of building the ark before bringing the end at that time, God is waiting on us to finish our assignment of taking the kingdom message to the whole world for the end to come.
Although almost all the world have heard about Jesus but not all the world have heard the gospel. This is because we preach a lot of good messages that are not the gospel. Therefore I say again, that the gospel is misunderstood.
Jesus gave about 50 parables and all of them was about the kingdom of God. But today most of our messages are about faith, prosperity, healing, deliverance, holiness, born again and all. But Jesus never preached about those things. He said our priority should be the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added. All of these that I listed, Jesus only mentioned as part of the kingdom lifestyle.
For example, John 3;3 reveals that, we get bron again to get into the kingdom. So the goal was not born again, the goal was the kingdom.
I pray God opens our eyes to see as he sees in Jesus name.
