PRELIMINARY
A. Background
Based on Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers states that teachers have a position as professionals. One of the principles of teacher professionalism is to have the required competencies in accordance with their field of work. Competencies that must be possessed include four aspects, namely pedagogy, personality, social and professional competence. (UURI No. 14 Th. 2005, Citra Umbara, 2005)
The quality of the teacher will determine the quality of the learning process which in turn will affect the quality of learning outcomes. Increasing teacher competencies, one of which is can be achieved through TRAINING. Education and Training is a form of institutional intervention so that employees have standard competencies so that they are able to carry out their duties properly and correctly.
B. Purpose
The author will explain the purpose of this TTL, namely:
- Applying the knowledge and skills that have been obtained through training so that they can produce teaching materials to support meaningful learning.
- Improve and strengthen knowledge, attitudes and skills so that they can carry out their duties and functions in accordance with the required competency standards.
- Transfer the results of training to colleagues or co-workers and lead the original institution.
