Saracens claimed a bonus point victory at the Ricoh Arena against a much hampered Wasps team, struggling to pick up any real momentum in this year's Aviva Premiership season.

Saracens (18) 38

Dai Young's side, Wasps, faced a selection problem before the match, having only 28 players to choose a 23-man playing squad from. So many injuries cost Wasps dearly, and in a game where they'd expect to be in with a chance, they looked far from the Top-4 side that they are.
Saracens pounced out off the blocks, scoring three tries within the half-hour mark, with USA international Chris Wyles, Alex Goode and Schalk Burger handing them a comfortable 18-3 lead.
Saracens then had to show their grunt in defence, and they very much did! Schalk Burger, however, was very unfairly shown to the sin-bin by Wayne Barnes after (apparently) coming in at the side of a rolling maul and preventing a try, with the penalty try coming with it. The yellow card toppled momentum, and after a few phases of scrappy play from a struggling Saracens - Owen Farrell was sent to the bin for a high-tackle.
Wasps took advantage of the 2 man advantage with Willie Le Roux adding to the scoreline to make it 18-15 at the break.
Once the yellows were up, Saracens returned to their dominance; with Alex Goode and Ben Spencer adding another two tries to cut Exeter's lead at the top of the Aviva Premiership table in half!
