Promising England lock, Maro Itoje, fractured his jaw on Sunday in Saracen's game against Harlequins, scans have shown; it was his first game back playing for club after the Autumn Internationals.
The 23-year-old collided with Harlequins and England 15 Mike Brown and is going to be visiting a specialist in the coming week to determine whether it is safe for him to continue playing.
He was forced off in the 48th minute of Saracens' 20-10 defeat to Harlequins at the Stoop.
England will kick off their campaign in 9 weeks against Italy, and last year Maro Itoje started every game for the England side. The worst scenario that England could face is that Maro Itoje will not be fit to play in the first half of the Six Nations game - and as such a key asset to the team, it could turn into a big problem for Eddie Jones.
