Sonny Bill Williams (known as SBW), born August 3, 1985 in Auckland, is a rugby league player in XIII, XV and SEZ. He played at the center position of the Blues in the Super 15. He is best known in France for playing RC Toulon, where he began his rugby career. He is world champion with the All Blacks at the 2011 and 2015 editions of the World Cup in this discipline. In view of the 2016 Olympic Games, he joins the New Zealand rugby sevens team for the 2015-2016 season. A powerful and fast player, he is a feared tackler and an attacker with good individual technique. and appreciated for his many passes after contact.
Along with his rugby career, he performs several boxing matches a year.
