Our Vision & Mission:

  1. Foreign Exchange Programme - We will collaborate with 7 foreign universities for the global exposure and building a base for Masters in respective discipline.

  2. We will aim to positively establish a solid and trustworthy network of the administration and students with the Alumni Association and forming a bridge which will make the interaction between the two, be it for College Fest and activities Funding to Internship and Job Opportunities to Referral for higher studies, really smooth and easy going.

  3. We, as the previous SA, had initiated talks with minister in regard to the conditions of labs in the university. Eg. There is a machine in some other college that measures the weight of a grain to 60 decimal places. Whereas here the equipment is incapable of measuring accurately to 10 decimal places. We will follow up on the same and improve the conditions.

  1. Official email-IDs generated for each and every student in the format [email protected]
Official IDs are extremely beneficial while applying for internships/foreign projects/foreign universities. Also with these email-IDs teachers can share notes in their classes with just one click. Submission of assignments and reports will become easier.

  2. Transparency in CGPA system : Introduced last year, feedback from majority of the Second years has shown that the GPA hasn't been calculated Branch wise for the first years which was how it was supposed to happen as per the clauses laid. Also a notice has been issued that few of the subjects of several branches will be given a common GPA. We, being in the college SA aim to look upon this matter and get the possible revision done immediately.

  3. Library timings to be increased to 11 pm during exam days and SPS 13 and 14 to be opened till late as an alternative to reading room for students to study in AIR CONDITIONED classrooms.

  4. The technical culture in college needs to be promoted. In most govt. colleges labs are open 24*7 for research purposes, here labs close at 5 pm. This time shall be extended to minimum 8 pm.

  5. Organizing industry tie-ups and seminars for training in GD, case studied and PI for third and fourth year students before they sit for companies.
Mock workshops and sessions by renowned coaching institutes for GRE/GMAT/CAT preparation for first and second year students so that they can make up their minds about the future.

  6. Extend student dealing timings of academic branch from 10-1 and 2-5. No fees should be charged for obtaining bonafide and transcripts.

  7. Install and Check functioning of ACs in all classrooms.

  8. Gym and Sports facilities will be improved. Basketball courts and gyms top the list. Gym timings for girls will be regularized.
EVMs will be removed from the badminton court. Dedicated staff will be assigned for maintenance of sports grounds. Transforming Arena-the annual sports fest from intra-college to inter college.

  9. Photocopy shop inside the hostels(Approved). Setting up common Wifi for hostel in the common room.
    Periodic change in mess menu.

  10. Entry to private vehicles inside the campus extended till 10 pm(presently 8 pm).

  11. Health center facilities will be improved. Proper hygiene standards have to be met. Facilities like basic injections(tetanus), clean dressing of wound, all medicines shall be made available.

  12. Speed Breaker in front of college gate to facilitate crossing the road safely and college's bus stand.

  13. 11 months internship programs for the MTech 1st year students to be started. Currently present only in a few colleges and other selected colleges.

  14. To increase job opportunities for the Mtech * students, all 18 BTECH PCs and *5 MTECH PCs (number of PCs will be increased to increase representation - work already initiated) will work hard and open as many companies as possible for MTECH students.
