The Caribbean is Known for Rum🍹
This cat is no stranger to good rum, although I've never been to Jamaica, I've certainly had my fair share of Jamaican 🇯🇲 rum. Throughout the Caribbean there is excellent rum, anywhere you can grow and distill sugarcane should have decent rums. The worlds most drank rum is Tanduay from the Philippines but it's not as easy to get here as Bacardi, Havana Club, Captain Morgan's or Appleton's.
Comparing Appleton Estate and J. Wray Rum
Both these rums are owned and made by the same company J. Wray and Nephew Ltd. which was acquired by an Italian company in 2012 so technically they're Italian rums. The sugarcane is from Jamaica grown on some massive 45 Square kilometer plantation, the rum is distilled in Jamaica as well. They are both excellent rums with a long history of being made in Jamaica.
Rum n Coke is one of the world's most popular drinks, this is actually Diet Pepsi, rum doesn't need more sugar. Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a mixing rum making it the perfect choice to mix with rum. The J. Wray is significantly better and can be drank straight. One thing that people often don't know is that Rum like any fine spirit has a significant quality scale, I've seen bottles going for over $5000 in the fancier liquor stores. The older the rum the mellower it is, or easier to drink straight. The J. Wray is definitely smoother but it's an unfair comparison-if you have enough cash to shell out for a 50-year-old bottle of Appleton I'm sure it would be great too.
Every time I hear this song, Beenie Man feat. Fambo- I'm Okay/Drinking Rum & Redbull, it makes me want to drink rum. I imagine parties like this one happening frequently in Negril, Jamaica. I just wonder why they have bottles of Hennessy and Champagne in it, both being from France.

You are too generous! Thank you so much, you have no idea... It so 'cheap' because there are no taxes on alcohol and tobacco in the Canary Islands. These Islands are very close to Africa and belong to Spain (EU) but have autonomic government.
