This is my final week before I go on a long planned and much needed vacation. During that time, I will not be posting anything, as I will not have access to my computer, and I'm not going to bend over backwards to remain connected to my various online presences when time away from them is exactly what I need. Not that it isn't endlessly interesting and thought provoking, it's just a little time away will do me some good.
I have been having trouble slogging through the final few chapters of Metastasis, as I simply aren't as engaged with the story as I used to be. This happens a lot when I'm nearly done with a story, as I already know where it will end and it's just a matter of actually writing it, and wrapping up a story is always less fun than starting a new one or creating twists and turns. What I might do is get the entire thing finished, and then post it all within a week as a kind of finale. But don't worry, everyone. I will see it through to the end.
