Yesterday was a pleasant day, in the 50's Fahrenheit with that fall coolness evident. I haven't been posting much about my running but I have slowly been getting better, faster, and tolerating longer distances. It has done wonders for my mental health as well. I tried these semi-compression socks, which match so well with my shoes as you can see. :) I always thought running in compression socks was stupid and a gimmick way for the running or athletic stores to make extra money. Well, I work in the medical field and understand the importance of compression socks in that setting for aid in blood flow and decreased formation of blood clots and applied that science to running & the results just in.....I dig it! I am going to buy some actual athletic compression socks geared towards runners. You're cardio and pulmonary system works hard while you run why not give them both a boost with compression socks and increase your blood flow!?

I like that. Been debating on some since I am on my feet all day long. I have the ones that go all the way to the thigh but are a bit annoying to wear. Never thought of the ones like you tried. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on them. I wish you luck in the marathon. :)

Thanks, Yeah def look into the ones that aren't as long im sure there are varying benefits to each.
