So the whole day was colored by beautiful half-marathon experience. This was the sunniest, the most pleasant, joyful half-marathon experiences I've ever had! A bunch of happy, healthy and fit people all around me, laughing and chatting with fellow runners, cheering for full marathon participants who were sharing part of the double running track... It was sunny but not hot. There were hills, but just for a spice. At the end of the race, there was one nice medal waiting for me and a couple of running friends from my home-town area... Half marathons like this are important motivation and reason for my funning!!! Last but not least: thank you dear Steemians, who supported me so far and especially the ones who wished me all the best on this run - THANK YOU: it worked! One can only hope to be so happy from time to time as I was yesterday :)
Question for you: "Do you know what was your favorite run and why?"
When all puzzles fall into place, take a moment and take the good feelings in!
Daily run #676 on 8.4.2018
I listened to all the music I had on my phone! ;)
I've been running each and every day since the end of May 2016. The Running Streak continues and you can see and follow my daily pics also here: daily runs since 30th of May 2016.
I am honored, happy and proud to be part of Runningproject. @runningproject is a diverse community of runners on Steemit. For more information about the @runningproject please read ''The Steem Running Project: Introductory Post'' and The Steem Running Project 7th Status Report. Kindly invited to apply for an approved runner! You will meet runners on Steemit, exchange valuable information and experience and you can even get Isotonic after your run(ning) post!
In few words... You might get a better picture of who I am and what I do and aspire for if you read some of my other posts: So to be short and sweet, my introduction in #-form would look like this:
I joined Steemit in December 2017. @blockchain48 introduced me to it and explained to me how it works and why I could enjoy it. And I do enjoy it! I like the diversity and spirit of Steemit!
My main topic here is running. I also work on @runningproject (initiator of the project is @toofasteddie) as a Running Witness. I also regularly apply my running posts in #runforsteem challenge. I also post about origami and GTD (Getting Things Done).
- My core daily habit is running. If you do not run yet and would like to try it... I've written a blog: Manual for wannabe runners, where you can find tips and tricks, how to start running.
- As a Streak Runner, I wanted to share more information about this specific running approach. You can read more about Streak Running in my blog All you wanted to know about Running Streak - part 1, part 2 and part 3.
- I am revealing about my first steps in running arena in this post: How I started to run or can a workaholic and sedentary couch potato become a marathon runner?.
- I am certified GTD trainer so occasionally I write about Gettint Things Done methodology.
- I love origami and here is my post about the art of folding papers or what anybody should know about it.
- This was my introduction post on Steemit: 2018 is here! Any New Year's resolutions? And who am I to write about this?.

So many favorite runs over the years. One that stands out is when I bandited the Boston Marathon. It wasn’t on purpose, as I was only planning to keep my sister-in-law company for 10 miles, but I felt so good and was having so much fun (maybe it was just the Wesleyan girls) that I did 16. Another favorite was with my wife in Montreal during our honeymoon. We did about 20 miles just touring different parts of the city.

Looks like a truly perfect race day! So nice to see your experience. I'll have to really think about my favorite run. I have a few that come to mind for different reasons. I remember the first time I broke the 2 hour mark on the half marathon because it was so hard fought and I cried when I crossed the finish line of that race. I don't know if that was my favorite run, but I will always remember that feeling. I may just have to do a full post on some of my others. ;)

Thank you for this nice comment! Yes, I have a very nice memory on few runs where I really was about half an hour faster than on yesterday's race and this gave me such a nice feeling of victory and accomplishment! So will run for the result on less hilly and less crowded race again. But this one was perfect as it was :) I am looking forward to your post about "special" races :)
