An amazing achievement and a perfect ending to a huge project.

In an extremely well-prepared event when everything had to be perfect Eliud, with immeasurable help from the team of pacers, succeeded to run a marathon in under two hours.

Imagine the joy and pride of everyone involved in this project.

Respect!

The Ingebritsen brothers in action, helping set the world record. Great job by the Norwegians.

Hey @ervin-lemark, here is a little bit of BEER for you. Enjoy it!

It is a historic run even if it does not count as a marathon record. People can achieve amazing things. I wonder if some day someone will do this in a normal race.

:) I asked myself exactly the same question. Some day, I would guess in the next five years, there will be a regular marathon with a sub 2:00 result.
