I am gradually increasing distance in my Luna sandals. Even though I am used to low drops and zero drops, this 4K almost made my leg cramp at the end. Nothing that a good foam roll won’t fix, but I won’t risk any injuries. I ran on some technical trails and wow the grip is great! It is very dry now but I suspect that they will impress me on muddy days too. Well, off to foam rolling and re-hydrating (it is 30 and sun, a bit over my comfort).

I can't even stand walking in sandals that style, doesn't it pull between your toes ?

No, I haven’t had any hotspots in these. I am used to walking in such sandals though, I guess it helps.

Totally agree. They feel great. And I usually not wear sandals at all and I hated flip flops my entire life. Couldn't imagine running with that thingy pulling between my toes. Fortunately it's not pulling at all. Guess #lunasandals design is special. Love them.

Impressive 🙂

are you runing without that "technical strap" ?

Yes. I took it off when I was walking with them in the beginning and forgot to put them on again. I don’t think the sandals slide or slip so I’m not sure I need them? What’s your experience?

Actually you're right. Tried to wear them now for the first time without the technical strap. Actually enough stability provides. Guess I never closed them tight enough

never ran without them. Perhabs it's not a problem in flat terrain, but I love running on trails, so that straps helps a lot. at least for me.

Nothing can stop a consistent Runner.
