Fantastic! Make sure you go to holyrood park and climb to the top of arthur's seat. great views from there as well as the crags (the cliffs before it). Also the road that sits just beneath the cliffs is a great walk .. and is called 'the radical road' which tickles me. :)

Bro, Scotland is freaking amazing. I did the west highland way trail a few years back, one of my favorite hikes I have ever done! If you find yourself having the time or even like hiking, Scotland got so many great places for that:) By the way, almost 7km running is pretty good, took me a while to get over 4 km lol.
