I'm alive and running!!!!

Ey!!!
I'm sure you were thinking that, as a consequence of my last run in altitude I died and so, I decided to give up running, weren't you?

So, let me tell you that you were wrong!!!

I went for running 2 times more!

Yesterday: Intensive Run

Having to take care of two children is not always easy for a runner, nevertheless, I found some spare time to go for running, not so long but INTENSIVE!!!!

Why intensive? because I run on the hill close to home (Montjuich) and I was feeling so well that I run 3 Km below 4'/km and the rest between 5 and 4'/km.

Did those 4 days at 1600m do anything on my body? Maybe... or maybe just the holidays went so fine that I rest very well ;-)

In total, 10.2km in 46' (not bad at all taking into account that half of the run was uphill LOL)

Today: 30' of soft run + 10' of Threshold Run (just before going to the airport).

Again, at noon, luggage done, plane tickets checked....Let's go for Running!!!
But this time on flat surface, no hills...

  • 30' at 4'30"/km and below 157bpms
  • 10' below 4'/km around Anaerobical threshold (167bpm in my case)

9km in 40' IMPRESSIVE at my age 😉

Tomorrow, resting day, the work is mandatory!!!

Breathe, Run, Dream, Live...

Keep on running!!!

I also need 40 min for 9km uphill and downhill, but only by bicycle :)

Nice job!

@toofasteddie doesn't quit ever!! great job man KEEP RUNNING :)

Thanks man! Nice to read from you again ;-)

Good job! You're too fast;)

Hahhahah!

I used to swim for exercise but when I had kids I started running its the easiest to fit in when you go straight from home.

Indeed running is the most natural way of doing exercise and when you have kids at home it is also the easiest.
Keep on running!

Nice!

Finding time to run that does not affect family life too much is indeed tricky some days. Good job getting out there.
