#runeveryday: at home again, 40' run around Barcelona hill, Montjuich

in running •  7 years ago

Yesterday I took the decision of resting from running, since I am still injured and I have to be cautious...
I came back from Italy early this morning and I thought was a good moment to go for a run around.
The day was sunny , hot and humid but, mates, this is not a valid excuse for a consistent runner LoL!
Barcelona has a lot of good places for running. One of the best is going by Montjuich hill in which the Olimpic Games of 1992 were performed.
The path is comfortably hilly and there are many points of water supply/sources in case you need it in days like today.

Montjuich hill offers you a good opportunity to get different perspectives of Barcelona and the nearby. It is also one of the "green lungs" of the city. I recommend to everybody who plan to visit my city to have a walk over there.

At the end , 40' of run, with an stop in the middle to drink some water, 8.28 km at a 4'51"/km pace. 9' of Cool down+stretching afterwards.

Not bad at all.

Have a nice day and Keep on running!!!!

What is your avg HR at 5:21/km?

5'21"/km is the averaged pace of all the session, so, 40' of running + 2' of rest in the middle + stretching (5')...
According to this time frame, the avg HR of the total activity was 149 bpm (see the number at the bottom of the chart, right corner)...
Did I answer you?

yup, thank you :)
