Speed Intervals [5/50 #fiftyrunstillmay]

in running •  7 years ago

Today at the Running Club: Speed intervals workout successfully done.
So, I did, together with the "Running Family" the following:

wu+5x(100+200+300+400)r30"+r40"+r50"; R2'30" + 1000m+cd

Ok, nice, and WTF is this:

Warm-up + 5 blocks of 100, 200, 300 and 400m intervals, resting 30" between 100 and 200m interval, 40" between 200 and 300m and 50" between 300 and 400m. After each interval block, 2' and 30" of rest.
After the last block, we have rested 1 minute and, inmediatelly after, we run 1000m at the same pace of the last 400m interval, so in my case 3'35"/km

I felt pretty well, maybe a slight nuisance at my right hip, very normal since the Groan Strain is still back and forth appearing.
Still working hard on improving the cadence and trying to not fly vertically so high, as you can see in the picture below, looks I am floating!!!

Keep on running!!!
