A day of double awesomeness

I sent most of yesterday and today working. I know, it’s the weekend, but I am super busy right now with looming deadlines…

But this evening when I finally got some free time to check up on the state of the world, I found two very cool things had happened.

The Wellington Urban Ultra team had been out on the trails today, (in rainy weather) permanently marking them. This was all sanctioned by the council, who have really gotten on board with the race.

Do you know of any other ultra marathon courses that have permanent course markings? I would suggest they would be few and far between.

It is just awesome that my local race, now looking at its third year, is getting such support, and I’m excited to get out on the trails again and see the markings for myself.

Awesome thing number two

If you have been following along and paying attention, you’ll know that I created a video series about the WUU2K race, detailing the course. Well my videos are now featured on the official WUU2K website. How awesome is that?

Things are really ramping up for an amazing event this year and I’m super excited to be running it again. I can’t wait for July!
